Summer Camp Is Home To The New Drug War by
Tony Zizza
Tony Zizza takes a hard line with parents who are medicating their children
with 'psych' drugs. He writes, "by agreeing with a subjective and
consensus-driven psychiatric label for your child such as attention
deficit disorder (ADD) or obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and subsequent
drugging for an unknown period of time, you have really failed as a parent."

in court myself.]

The Slattern Single Mother by
by Sartre
Although the backlash expressed by Sartre against gender feminism is
understandable, the positions he attacks are not held by individualist
feminists (ifeminists) . Indeed, such positions run counter to ifeminism
which views motherhood and the traditional family as valid and salutary
choices. They are simply not the only valid or salutary choices. The key
words are 'choice,' and 'true equality' (not privilege) under the law,
which used to be what feminism stood for...without the adjectives and
qualifiers.

Not a Social Contract by

Meeting Gloria Steinem: first encounters and initial impressions by
Dana Cook
Gloria Steinem's 70th birthday was last week. Love or hate her -- and an
ifeminist she's not! -- one reader compiled an interesting "literary
commentary" on this influential woman. I invite other readers to compile
their own quotes/commentaries on the feminist of their choice, including
a "rebuttal" Steinem.

Voltairine de Cleyre is one of the "founding mothers" of individualist

way to start an argument.

The American sense of freedom is shifting from rights to choices by

Barbara Curtis warns, "The more options Americans have, the more our need

mustard and rings - the less fire we have for the choices our government
continues to withhold (school vouchers) or begins to take away (gun
ownership, religious expression)."
